Where do you go after the academy on dragon quest 9?

The logical next step would be Batsureg. Sail north from Djust Desert until you hit land, you should be on a swampy patch of islands. Follow the path they make until you reach the Illugazar Plains, and Batsureg is the village there.

You have to keep driving it around to different islands until you find cities their and win them to get all 7 golden fyggs.

You go to Gleeba, the island that is above the land of Bloomingdale, to the top right and left, there r 2 small islands

If you all seven fygges go to alltrades abbey go to blue tree go to observatory
