If you want to speak with Karen in person you will need a DS with a GBA Slot and a copy of the game Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral Town. Insert the Mineral Town game into the GBA slot and play Harvest Moon DS like normal. Karen will visit the valley every Tuesday and on certain festivals.
