AnswerTHE BLOWER RELAY IS BEHIND YOUR GLOVE BOX. REMOVE THE BOX AND IT WILL BE TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY. LOOKS LIKE A CONNECTOR. HOWEVER, YOUR RELAY MAY NOT BE BAD EVEN THOUGH IT CLICKS. 9 OUT OF 10 ITS YOUR BLOWER MOTOR...

If you are talking about the blower relay for the fan motor because fan motor does not work, and you find out this is not the problem, I have a 1999 silverado where the fan motor stop working. Replaced the dash switch, did not fix the problem. Figured fan motor was bad. While attemping to remove the fan motor under the dash, there was a plastic cover attached to the motor which I removed and found a small circuit board that was showing a burnt spot. Replaced this circuit board first before going futher. This fixed my problem. Cost for the board from the dealer at the time (2005) was $30. Had I known about this board, could have save myself $165 replacing the dashboard switch.

Blower motor stop working in 1998 Chevy silverado?

Well you got ten years out of it. Put in a new one. Fuse??? Take a test light and see if there is power to the blower. Had this problem on my 1998 silverado with blower working on only high speed. Replaced the resistor, relay, and motor. Didn't help. Finally decided to use a test light to check for power. Started at connection supplying power to the blower motor switch then checked for power at each blower switch speed connector. Bingo! Bad switch. www.napaonline.com/masterpages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=ECH&PartNumber=HC1...
