The gold claim site appears at the middle right side of your map, where the two rivers come together.

To pan for gold there, you need to win the claim from the Slapjack player at the casino in Dos Cactos. Then you have to go to Rock Ridge and return the lost calf to the cattle girl at the left side of town. You can swap the saddle she gives you at the Trading Post in Dusty Gulch, and get a pan to use to find gold. Carefully sloshing sand from each of the shiny spots will eventually reveal a gold nugget.

to get the gold nugget get on your horse go out of town look on the map follow it until you see to rivers coming in to each other you will see a star in the middle click on it and your horse will go on to and then you will play a game to get it put your gold pan or whatever it's called in the dirt click in the dirt and move your gold pan and shake it backwards and forwards softly though if the gold nugget is in the pan you won the game and get to keep the gold nugget keep playing it to get more i hope this helped you and yes it's alot of information

Find gold at the gold claim staked out by the gambler in the Dos Cactos casino.

First get the saddle for returning the calf at the left side of Rock Ridge, and swap it for a gold pan at the Trading Post in Dusty Gulch.

Go to the casino in Dos Cactos. Talk to the guy upstairs and play Slap Jack. When you win, he can't pay you, so he gives you a piece of map to show you where to find gold. Leave town and go to the star all the way to the right just below Diamond Plains, where the rivers flow together. Push in the pan at each of the 4 sparkling spots in the mud, and slosh the sand to see if there is a nugget. Use it to buy elixirs from the peddler in Rock Ridge.

You have to trade your old saddle and you will have a gold pan. Ride your horse to the most right and you will see a star in the river. And scoop the one that is on the top right.Then shake off the stones to see the gold. Go to Rock Ridge and go to the person that has potions give the gold to him. He will give all of the potions. Then, go to Dusty Gulch and go to the trading post. Talk to the person and say, "I want to trade the gold pan back" Get the oil can.Then go to Diamond plains hop on the unfinished tower then, go to the right you will see a whole go in it. You can trade for a pan at the Trading Post, once you have something to trade.

Go to Rock Ridge and see the cowgirl at the left side of town. Ride out and rope her lost calf and return it to the corral. She will reward you with an old saddle.
