Where to find Lava Lump on dragon quest ix?

newid isle. leave alltrades abbey and head west. there should be some small mountains you will have to go around. head south once you get around the mountains and you should see some sparkling bits.

Go west from altrades abbey then once you go past the mountains go down :)

The only lump of lava i know ogf getting is when i defeated the boss for the Alltrades Abbey
