The Golden Egg is in the dark caves below Poptropica Towers at the far left of the island. There are two ways to get there, but either way you need a glow stick. Go down the well in Early Poptropica village to find one. It will automatically work in the dark.
1) You can enter the dark Egg cave from the hole on Main Street (which leads you to the Pig and a giant spider). There is a tunnel that leads left to the Egg cave.
2) You can enter the egg cave from the hole at Poptropica Towers.
For the tunnel entrance, you will go left, then up, then right and up again at the far right. For the Poptropica Tower entrance, you will go down left, then across to the far right. There is a sign "getting warmer" just to the right of the Egg.
The egg is in the dark caves below Poptropica Towers (you can also get there from the spider cave by using the tunnel there). Go to Early Poptropica village, enter the well, and find the Glow Stick. Now you will be able to see in the caves, and locate the Golden Egg.
To find the egg, first get the glowstick from the well (go down it) on the earlier part of the island that takes you all the way to the right of the island. After getting that get out, then travel back to the pothole on main street (where blimp is) and go down there. As you can see (if you haven't) there is a pig down there, grab that to not waste time. Once you've reached the bottom go all the way to the left and you'll be traveled to a dark room. With help from the glowstick, you can see a maze ( not long) you travel to get the egg. It may take several tries or less, but once you've found it, you either can go back to the bottom and go back to where you came from or go to the top, which will take you to poptropica towers. Then go up to the giant and give him the egg and he will let you advance.

well first you need to get a glow stick.(which is located when you go to early poptropica and go down the well till you find the glow stick next to boxes). Then you go to poptropica's towers go down the hole and then search. The rest is your quest.

Hop land: one is on top of the factory, one beside the factory in a tree, one ontop of the talent show building
Spy Island: on top of the building above Spyglass eyewear (climb up head quarters then jump across the wire to the right)
Shark tooth: on top of the tourism center
24 carrot: on the sign above the gas station to the right
p.s. If you complete the egg hunt you get the: HOP Bunnizer, and the HOP Easter Bunny costume (i love wearing it)
The first egg is located in Early Poptropica on top of the Soda Pop Shop. The second egg is in Spy Island on the second building to the right. You have to use the bow tie to reach the top. The third egg is in Shark Tooth Island on top of the Tourism Center. The fourth egg is in 24 Carrot Island on the pole next to the Gas Station. The fifth egg is in the "Hop" building on top of the egg shaped building. The sixth egg is in the building that advertises the movie "Hop" and it is in one of the trees. And the last egg egg is on one of the buildings IN the building that advertises "Hop".
It's more fun to find the eggs yourself. This way, when you finish you'll feel a bigger sense of achievement. If you've completed every island, this hunt should not be very hard for you. All you have to do is think about the item's surroundings, then think about what islands are set in that kind of environment.
