For example, Brick (The Berserker) is an expert in melee combat and explosives. His primary weapon is a shot gun. His skill attack sends him into a rage in which his fists do even more damage than usual while he, himself, takes less damage. If you prefer to get in close and beat your enemies senseless, he's the character for you.

Mordecai (the Hunter) is a gun slinger. He's most proficient in pistols and snipers. His skill action sends out his pet "Bloodwing" to attack your enemies. If you want to snipe out your enemies from a safe distance, Mordecai's your guy.

Lilltih (The Siren) is more of a stealth character, relying on speed and her action skill "Phasewalk" in which she enters another dimension, moves quickly and reappears in this dimension with a bang. She's most proficient with the SMG.

And then there's Roland (the Soldier) who's an excellent supportive character. His skill is called the Scorpio Turret. It allows you to deploy a turret which automatically fires at enemies. He has the potential to add medical abilities through his skill paths and can offer some devastating offensive moves. He's best with the machine gun or a rifle.

Each has their pros and cons and no one character will make the game any easier to beat for everyone. We all have our own preferred gaming style. Try to pick a character that matches yours best.
