Which is better to get Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire Hi I am allowed to get either Ruby or Sapphire for my birthday and I want to know which to get and is their any differences?

I think sapphire is better and the biggest difference are the Pokemon you can catch, e.g. In sapphire the legendary is Kyogre where as in Ruby it is Groudon

There are little differences in the games except which Pokemon to get. Ruby: Groudon Sapphire: Kyogre and some like sap.: lotad ruby:shroomish (I think) and one last thing which headband you want ruby: red headband sap.: blue and same with the tents ruby: red tent sapphire: blue tent (tents are used to decorate your secret base) you can find the tents in the trick masters house after you beat the last challenge. there is 10 in all (I think) after that he will leave and will not come back if you find some way to bring him back please tell me. I would honestly say neither i mean i love them both but you should just get Pokemon Emerald instead cause you can catch all the Pokemon that are in Ruby and Sapphire

i play ruby but i like Sapphire better because it has better Pokemon and Kyogre is a bit less stuborn.

I suggest you get Pokemon Sapphire instead of Pokemon Ruby because:

1. You can get Kyogre instead of Groudon (In ruby)

2. Kyogre is better than Groudon because it is stronger as well.

3. You vs Team Aqua in Pokemon Sapphire and Team Aqua is stronger. :)

well i have played ruby and sapphire om i would consider getting emerald its harder than sapphire and ruby cuss of the gym leaders if u cant get emerald get sapphire its better than ruby ive played them both and kyogre can kill groudon and the only thing is i like latios more than latias but i still consider getting sapphire.
