Who is the purple man from fnaf?

Purple Guy (also known as Purple Man or The Murderer) is a recurring antagonist in both Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

He was responsible for The Missing Children Incident mentioned in the first game, but he could have possibly carried out more murders, as implied from the minigames in the second game. He only appears in some of the Death Minigames of the second game and the Minigames of the third game, but his role in the story is pivotal.

*NOTE: SPOILERS AHEAD* The pizzeria in FNAF 4 was actually the first pizzeria. Here, Purple Guy committed the murders of the children, and presumably stuffed them into suits. Once on his shift (or more likely after hours) he encountered the spirits of the kids he killed. Frightened and scared, he desperately ran and hid inside a Spring-Bonnie suit to escape. He forgot though, that the suit had been declared unsafe. The spring-locks inside collapsed, and killed him. Later, the place was shut down, the suit forgotten, and a new pizzeria (Fazbear's Fright) was built on top of it. Now, Fazbear's Fright was a Horror attraction. So when the construction team found the old Spring-Bonnie suit, now rotten and trashed from years of decay and neglect, they made him as part of the attraction. Sucks for you, since you're on the night shift, and quote Phone Guy 'now, the animatronics do get a bit quirky at night.' Unfortunately, in this case, quirky means trying to kill you.
