A fairly comprehensive account was given in the book by Herodotos of Halicarnassus' book entitled Historia (= Researches).

The major book on the Persian Wars was written by Herodotus of Halicarnassus.. Other historians wrote accounts of it (Cstesias, Diodorus Siculus etc) but their accounts are unreliable.
Herodotus of Halicarnassus wrote a work Histories in which contains 9 books. Books 6 to 9 cover the Persian Wars 499 to 478 BCE. (the wars went on for another 30 years).
