Why I can't get through the research facility in super smash bros brawl?

i have no idea what part ur talking about , but if im right in thinking, i think youre talking about the large area with three rooms. go to the bottom room first, do what needs doing in there, which is raising a platform, go to the room above, which is guding you along with the platform you just made, then hitting the switch at the end, walking back to the far left end of the large area, and then doing what needs doing in there.
