just in case you were wondering, 2 weeds appear in your town every day so pick them. when the town is clean for 30 days you get a golden watering can.
also, if you let your town have too many weeds, one of the big red flower things appears with loads of flys round it. You have to take all the weeds away to get rid of it, cuz u cant dig it up.
