Maybe the server is down?
Maybe he does. Saw this just after I answered before. (I said that I though he only had one for testing). I havn't tested the server though.http://wiki.answers.com/Is_there_an_minecraft_server_run_by_NotchRead more: What_is_Notch's_IP_Server_in_Minecraft
You can't. Servers are run on a computer with a special program. You can make your own server though!
The hamachi part yes as long as the hamachi is active for that server the server itself cant run though as the server is local to the computer.
A remote access server enables users who are not on a local network to access, retrieve, file, and print services as though they were. For example, people telecommuting to the office from home may dial into a remote access server. Through that server, users may access drives and printers in the office as though they were connected to the internal office LAN. Security is a paramount consideration in remote access applications. No. not that i know of. i am currently trying to find a way to do this though.
You may need to check if you have no programs running on conflicting ports, and have enough RAM allocated to the server.
a server address is basically a code that gets you to the server. i play on a server cald korecraft (my in game name is linkenup2bcool, i don't own the server though). the server address or ip is korecraft.com (it is still up, but might be down sometimes)
Factions are kinda like groups or colonies in Minecraft. I'm in a faction on one server called PIEmasters (even though I hate pie >:D).
Usually /f mod <name> or /f admin <name>. It depends on the server though.
you could go on cryptcraft.com and do /hg to participate in the Games. There are good PVPers but not many people are online though
could be that minecraft updated and your server is out of date. if you are using a bukkit server than check your craftbukkit and make sure the number that follows it equals your minecraft version. Your question doesnt give a lot of detail though so thats the first problem i would check, if you have more details (like an error or something) post it in the Discussion and we will figure it out.
Yes they can. If you give them your server folder, there's a special technique with INVedit they can use to then hack the game. Though I think you aren't stupid enough to give personal stuff to strangers :b
