Why can't you order from the shop on animal crossing?

Also, check your other characters' mailboxes, if they are full then you can't order from Nook. You can only order 3 items at a time, so he might say "I'm sorry, but we can't order anymore" or something related to that if you have already ordered 3 items and they haven't come in yet.

This can happen because of one of two things.

1. You are in someone else's town.
2. The DS clock and the in-game clock differ by a large amount.

If the second is true, synchronize your Wild World and DS clocks. The DS time can be changed in the options menu, but it is better to change the in-game time instead. Do this by using the phone in your room as the game starts.

1. ether you are not at your town, you ordered to much, or your can't order it all together... (you can't order the halo you just have to wait for it at the clothes shop)

you ussually can, but only items you have owned and some items are unbuyable. Hope that helps!
