Why can't you trade Deoxys between Pokemon versions?

Here are some of the reasons why Deoxys cannot be traded or transferred:

1. If you are trying to trade Deoxys with a Pokemon game that is older than Generation III, then it cannot be traded, because the Generation I and II did not have Deoxys in the first place.
2. Deoxys can only be transferred to Generation IV using the Pal Park with the GBA Pak inserted in the GBA slot of the DS and cannot be traded with Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. (This function no longer work from DSi and above)
3. Deoxys could possibly be hacked if it won't go through the Pokemon Transfer to the Pokemon Bank. This could include an illegal move set, the wrong location, wrong stats, or an illegal ability which Deoxys does not have/has yet to have.
4. Mainly the reason Deoxys cannot be traded is what number 1 has described. Make sure you and your friend (or yourself if you are trying to trade Deoxys to the other DS) have the same Generation version. Meaning, if you have Pokemon Black, your friend can have Pokemon White and still be able to trade. This also applies to games like Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen, Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald, and Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver since they are all the same Generation.
