Liquids CAN be compressed ... but not as much as gasses, nor as easily.
The reason is that there is no "free space" between the molecules of a liquid (nor of a solid), but there is between the molecules of a gas.

Similarities between hydraulics and pneumatics?

easy: Both use pressure now hydrolics used liquids (liquids cannot be compressed) to exhert pressure pneumatics uses gasses which are compressed to exhurt pressure thtas the basics anyway

Can liuid be compressed?

Yes, liquids can be compressed, but relatively little, and requiring much higher pressures compared to gasses.

Why liquids are incompressibility?

Liquids are cannot be compressed because the particles are close together and compact- this means that the particles cannot get closer together. Therefore liquids can't be compressed.

Where do you use the fact that gases can be compressed and liquids cannot?

a liquid can be compressed

How will you show that gases can be compressed while liquids and solids cannot be compressed?

baybi

Do liquids have greatest spaces between particles so they can be compressed?

No, liquids have particles that are close together but still able to move past each other. This is why liquids are not easily compressed like gases. Gases have the greatest spaces between particles and are more easily compressed.

What can't be conpressed?

solids cannot be compressed at all, if you compress a liquid enough it will become a solid by freezing, gasses can be compressed however if compressed enough it will become a liquid

Are sound waves transverse waves or compressional waves Why?

Compressional, gasses can be compressed but cannot be wiggled side to side.

How does pressure affect liquids?

Liquids cannot be compressed or expanded. However, if you "squeeze" water, it will find its way out between your fingers. Hope this helps.

What Can't be compressed much but can move about?

Water is an example of a substance that cannot be compressed much due to its incompressibility, but it can move about freely due to its fluidity.

Is molecule movement greater in liquids or gases?

molecules move more in gasses gasses>liquids>solids

Does neptune have a solid surface or is it made from liquids and gasses?
