Why cant you accept a quest on World of Warcraft?

If you cannot accept a quest in World of Warcraft, try one of the following:

1) See if you already have that quest in your log, you can only accept it once.

2) Similarly, if it is a daily or weekly quest (like the weekly raid quests) that changes randomly, check if you did not have a previous version in your log.

3) Some quests are actually directly turn-ins as well, like quests to hand in cloth at the faction capitals. Such quests generally can't be accepted if they are repeatable and you do not have the turn-in at hand.

4) Sometimes addons can block your quest acceptance. On the character selection screen, click the Addons button at the lower left. Uncheck the addons, and log into your character again. See if the quest can now be accepted, else go back and check the boxes again.

If none of this seems to work, contact a game-master via the /gm menu, and ask for help.
