You have to do something before trying to host. Follow these steps if you have a dlink router
1. press start and then run
2.type in cmd
3.type ipconfig
4.remember ip address and default gateway
5.go to your internet browser mozzila fire fox internet explorer etc.
6.type in your default gateway in the URL
7.now username password don't know? if so type it down if not type in username admin password admin or just username admin make sure YOU PRESS ENTER ON KEYBOARD!!!
8.ok now go to advanced and type in warcraft 3 in the name
9.port and all that stuff beginning is 6112 end is 6119 if u have wireless then do 6112 on both
10.make the type both if u have wireless if not any or tcp your choice.
11.then check it and save settings then try hosting a game on warcraft 3
