no just recruit 3 treecko's from mystery jungle 1 for each evolution stage..that's what i do it saves time that way..veronica

in explorers of sky, he sends a message saying he's okay. EDIT: your character (the Pokemon you turned into) never sees grovyle again, and never does hear the message. Grovyle sent it "on the winds" in the future. unless dialga or celebi does something, grovyle never sees you again probably.
How do you get grovyle from the main story to join your team in explorers of time?
You can't, he sacrifices his life to kill dusknoir when you go and fight dialga. He's dead in other words.
In explorers of time are you supposed to lose against grovyle?
If you are at the cave... then no! i suggest linking moves so you can easily beat him in one or two turns if your OR you partner is a fire type
