I have read to delete the .sav file from your memory card and try another download. same here! it wont play some games. it says save data could not be found
You can download the game file over the internet but you also have to download the sav. file
Connect the r4 to a computer and got to the r4 games. Next find the nintendogs sav. file then delete the sav. file and now you got a new game.Hope this helps.
If you're unable to locate the SAV file, first check the directory where the original file is saved, as it may be in the same location. Additionally, search your computer using the file explorer by entering "*.sav" in the search bar to find any associated files. If the SAV file was not created, ensure that the application you are using supports SAV file generation, and consider checking the application's settings or preferences.
You can't download save files. <--- This dude fails. you can download .sav files for nds games that is presuming you have an R4 or similar. just type in the name of the game you want a sav file for and add .sav to thend in google, it may take a bit of looking but you will find one eventualy.

It is a special tool to edit a games cartridges sav file directory instead of using an ar Apparently you can only get it in Japan.
The best way to open up .sav files are just to click on them. They will usually appear as a download that you can open.
Just delete the sav file of your desire ROM by going to its folder and find the archive called -(yourdesirerom).sav-i mean your wanted ROM.
Yes you can avoid this by deleting *.sav file BEFORE you start a new game. But you must start and shut off your emulator once before deleting. Now play and select save type flash128k. Now you can play. the *.sav file will appear again in your folder, but this one is the correct one.
