God has given us the freedom to do as we wish. The reason the world has war, conflict, and battle is because of man's ego. Man's ego is the product of our ignorance. We think we are different from each other and we kill each other in the name of nations, religions, cultures. In reality, we are not the body, mind, ego, that we seem to be, we are all one Divine Soul. But man is ignorant. If man realizes this truth there would be no wars. It is the same ignorance that makes us believe that God does not answer prayers. We don't know God, we don't know to whom we pray and what we say when we pray. Therefore, in reality we just bray. Instead of braying, let us understand what true praying is. It is realizing God in the temple of our heart. The heart that beats is none other than God. God is a power within. God is not someone with bone and skin. We must realize the truth, then our questions will be answered.
This is a very personal question. FWI god is not here to stop wars there is no god of jesus

It explains that prayers to a god are not always answered, not that a god does not exist. However, if the god in question meets some criteria that would allow an expectation for all prayers to be answered, it does not exist.
it doesnt have to be a specific prayer just let God know that you are thankful for him giving you a mother like the one you have. prayers should come from your heart so just tell God how you feel
