I don't think anyone is really sure why. But if they open it back again there are pros and cons.
Cons:
• Rare T-Shirts and other items wouldn't be rare anymore.
• The less rare something is, the less they could be sold for.
• Popular places, like seaside, won't be popular anymore because everyone has rare items already. They wouldn't have to be saving money for something, therefore, the game might get boring.
Pros:
• We wouldn't have to pay/trade others for things found in the vault.
• Less scammers of course.
Idk of any more...
I just think they should open it for really, really special holidays. Like, for example, they should have a one-day-only vault open day or something...? Every year, perhaps on New Year? Not only would Free Realms get more new players, but they'd get old players back too.

Well first of all you can't get into the royal vault anymore if you played the old Free Realms THEN you would get in. But if you go to the sanctuary, go where the royal vault is closed, talk to the big monster standing in front of it, and he will give ya some seeds. You plant your seeds at your wilds farm. (You MUST need SC to buy the seeds.)

Plant and grow to have a chance to unlock plaids, but to actually get the plaids you must buy them with SC in the Free Realms Station Cash market for 100SC for 4, comes in packs of 4.
