Why isn't Poptropica saving automatically?

When you start poptropica,There will always be a little blue circle on the right of your screen.That is the save button.When you click on it,it will say what you need to fill in.When you have done this,it will automaticly save for you.If you don't do it it won't save at any time.Once you save it the button will go away and it will start saving itself

To save, just click save in the bottom right hand corner. If you have not previously saved, you will be asked to create a username (not the avatar name) and a password to identify your character. Do not forget the username or password, as these cannot be recovered.

Data can be saved, now. All you have to do is click the Save and Quit button. Then you come to screen. To save, click " I'm really done.... Please log me out." If you don't want to quit, then click " RETURN TO YOUR GAME."

Before you couldn't save. I was afraid it wouldn't save, but I closed it, and the next time I went on it, it was saved,

For unknown reasons, the island was made unavailable in January, 2013, about 7 months after it debuted. Anyone still on it when it "sank" should be able to leave, but they may not be able to play the competitions.

By the time it reappears, it may have been converted to the new style of game.
