Why isn't my Sims 2 game working?

Look on the back of the CD case of the sims 2 game and at the bottom, it tells you what your computer needs for it. Or you probably don't have enough gb or mb on your computer for it or you need better graphics.

Your sims 2 probably isn't downloading because you have a vista computer and the sims 2 only works on xp computers

Different person: no that's wrong person above me, I have Windows 7 and it works perfectly fine. If it doesnt read the disc at all, call your computer company and have that fixed, and if you don't wanna go threw all that, RETURN YOUR GAME! That's what i did, and now it works just fine :)

your laptop might not reach the sims 2 requirements to play, i have heard and seen that the sims 2 life stories is laptop friendly. So if worse gets to worse, give sims 2 life stories ago! :) HAVE FUN!

Okay, I know why it is not loading on your computers. Either Your computer isn't updated enough, or it runs too slow. I've gone through the same experience, myself. I actually had to get a whole new computer because it wouldn't load. Now I'm a happy Sim player.

It wont start if you :

1.haven't got CD 2 in the CD-ROM.

2. not cleaned your hard- drive.

3. you haven't installed it.

4. you haven't waited long enough (approx: 3-4 Mins or 10 secs)

5. you don't have the game.

P.S Read the Manual/Information Book or look on the computer or research.

You Sims 2 game might not save because the memory card or internal memory is full. The memory may also be corrupt.

You need to unplug your drainer and plug in your stimulator
