Download the new java update and install. It should be Version 7 Update 7.
It means you either don't have Java installed, or you have a previous version of Java that needs updating. You can visit www.Java.com to update/ install java. You can also play Runescape by switching from High Detail to Low Detail. Perhaps your processor can't handle HD.
Play it in Low-detail mode.
Runescape updates usually occur on Mondays, or during the Weekdays.
If you are having problems getting into High-Detail runescape or you can get in but it is really slow, it could be because you do not have enough memory free to play it on high detail, I suggest you free memory by closing programs that you don't need, especially the ones in the background. If this doesn't solve your problems then it may be because your computer/Laptop doesn't meet the high detail requirements in some way, but this doesn't mean you can't play Runescape, you can still play it in Low Detail and at the same time making slight adjustments on the Graphics.
The current event in Runescape is a Beta Programme Update. Runescape is now in the process of a major graphical update, because of lag issues that are serious and the changing of technologies and graphics.
It doesn't exist. The Grand Exchange was an update in Runescape 2 (the current Runescape), so there is no G.E. in Runescape Classic.
The graphical update occurred on the 1st July 2008.
Use the RuneScape forums, and post/update you blog in the 'general' section.
