Why was shadow the hedgehog game so bad?

I would say he seems evil because he is self-serving, he generally only thinks of himself and his own needs although he does help others, especially if it is in his own interest. He also does what he wants or what he thinks is right no matter what or who is in the way.

It wasn't 'bad' persay, as a stand-alone game it was okay, but as an addition to the Sonic franchise it was poorly received, mainly due to these issues:

-The use of guns was something a ton of fans disliked. No other Sonic character till that point had ever used handheld firing weapons.

-The near endless amount of possible ways to go through story mode because of the branching storylines was something a lot of people also disliked.

-A lot of people just thought that the plot itself and gameplay were bad.

Shadow is only hostile to Sonic in SA2, because he was villainous throughout most of that game. He is neutral to Sonic nowadays. shadow is mean to sonic because he such a hater n he has no lifee like fr why he think he the sh+t wen he not hackeeeddd boooboo

Yess, i will admit that Shadow was artificially created, but not as a robot. He was made from Black Doom' s clood 50 years ago! How is he a clone if Sonic wasn't even born?
