in the greenguard area, there will be places containing the greenguard bosses. the basilisk, the dragon and the deathgazer.i havent foud any others. yo have to defeat each of them if you want to finish the quest. you wont be able to do it alone

you click on your quest book and then click on your quest. at the bottom it will say cancel quest. click on that, and the quest will end. if you want to try the quest again the process wont be saved.
