Answer 1: Nope, not for me anyway. I just installed it on my new windows 7 laptop and it installed fine but won't run D:
Answer 2: I have windows 7 premium 64 bit on an HP Pavilion Laptop and Sims 2 runs perfectly well and the only problem was the picture was a square instead of 16:9 but that was easily fixed by increasing the resolution from the in-game graphics setting. It runs even better on windows 7 in my opinion*
Answer 3: I also installed the Sims 2 on my windows 7 laptop, it installed fine but wouldn't run,so I:
1. Right-clicked on the Sims 2 icon
2. Clicked 'Troubleshoot compatibility'
3. Clicked 'Try recommended settings'
That worked for me.
Answer 4: It has been said that if a program works on Vista it will work on Windows 7. I have an old copy of Sims 2 on 4 CDs. I installed it on Vista but got a Microsoft message saying known problems when I tried to run it. However I went to the Sims 2 website and downloaded the latest update for the CD version. When that was applied Sims 2 ran OK.
Answer 5: I installed sims 2 double deluxe, then Sims 2 Apartment Life on my Windows 7 and it works

Yeah because Windows 7 is brand new, Sims Life Stories have been out for a while.
Yes, the sims deluxe edition does work for me on windows 7, but I've had trouble with the expantion packs (house party, hote date ect...)

The Sims life stories is not compatible on an apple personal computer because the disc is for a windows personal computer. I have tried it on my apple computer and it didn't come up in finder or DVD player so you have to get a Sims game which is compatible on an apple.Ask a techie for more info.

I think that most already work. I have Sims Life Stories on my Vista Premium laptop, and it works fine, except a little lag now and then but that's because my hardware sucks... so just try them, but I know that The Sims 2 Deluxe does not work, but u could get The Sims 2 and all the expansion packs. The Sims 2 DOUBLE Deluxe works.

No it only works on Sims 2. Sims Pet Stories is a different game.
