It works that way on the PS3, but I can't say for other platforms. I would assume it works the same, though.
yes.
no even if you install the goty edition of fallout the disc will still be needed to play them.
Yes when brought from a shop, all you do is put the disc in, install the content then play the content using the original fallout 3 disc.
Yes. You must have the disc in order for the game to work like any other game, unless it is a digital copy.
Broken Steel is avaliable on disc for Xbox360 & PC in the Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack #@ (along with Point Lookout) and is also comes with the Game Of The Year Edition on disk.
It appears only in the SingStar original disc of PS3 (vol. 1) In all of them except the Spanish edition.
no it does not
They are identical, the Collectors Edition disc and original cartridge (which I asume you are referencing) are no different. Save for the wierd sound error that occured while transferring from the 64 cart to the Collector's Edition disc.
Get your money back.
Answer 1:I'm not 100% sure but seeing how, for example: If I put my copy of Madden into your Xbox 360, it doesn't matter that it is not owned by you, the only factor that would come into play is my saves not coming with the disk, but your saves will be recognized.) I'm really not sure though, because it really is essentially a "Fallout 3" on a different disc, but I pretty sure if the title of the software (not the box) is different, the Xbox 360 won't be able to recognize that it is the same game.Answer 2:On PS3, you can continue your save from the original Fallout 3 disc, and the new content is added on...it's very simple.
yes, it is the same game just has a bonus disc.
MegaMan 8 was originally released on the PlayStation in 1996-97, but it's playable on the PS2 if you have the original disc. Or you can pick up a copy of the MegaMan Anniversary Collection, which has MegaMan 1-8 (plus a few extras) on one PS2 disc.
