I recently discussed this with my father, an electrical engineer, and an engineering teacher at my school and they answered it as a probably. The problem would be the companies getting together and organizing it. The thing is if the companies really tried they could do it. The closest thing to a universal console now is a PC. I myself am going to say it's a certainty they will come out with one. If they priced it right and split profits in the right way and things of that nature the companies could have more money than they could ever imagine, even though they're already rich beyond any of their previous dreams. If they did sell it they would fly off the market and money would be made. And if they're paying for name ideas.... The X-box PS Wii60.
