Xbox Live Failed now what?

It's happening to me too, to everyone it seems like. I checked the forums, it happend last year too for like a day. I'm guessing xbox live just shut it down to update it maybe? It could be an upgrade for an expected surge in traffic after Christmas. It is not all that uncommon for online game networks to go down from time to time. Be patient hang out with your family and friends make a sandwich or watch a movie and try again later. Xbox customer support will just tell you that the system is down and to try again later so save yourself the waiting time on hold. You can also check out the Xbox support forumns and talk to others that are having the same problem.

1. Make sure ur wireless router is connected or Ethernet cable is plugged in from ur xbox to ur modem.

2. if ur trying to use an alternative wireless adapter in place of the $100 xbox wireless adapter it may not be compatible with Xbox.

3. If ur looking to save some money and not buy the $100 wireless adapter either

- Go to ur local radio shack, best buy, or another tech store and ask them for a wireless adapter that works well with Xbox.

- or if ur looking to save money and u want an Ethernet cable. Go to best buy they sell 50 FOOT! Ethernet cables for only $20! this is wat i use and i have a very solid Xbox live connection!

4. If u do all these steps and u still cant connect to Xbox live theirs probably something wrong with ur Modem and u should call ur internet service provider and tell them u either need a new modem or ask them too come out and take a look at it.

Well depending on the situation you might have to call your local Xbox Support, or post in the Xbox Forums to get help from Xbox Live Ambassadors, regular users, or official Xbox Support Representatives themselves.
