You tried to go on different worlds on runescape but it didnt work for speaking so what went wrong on runescape 2009?
the world you talking about is called a quick chat world and quick chat worlds are met for safety reasons for kids who plays runescape.
runescape is not for kids but everyone knows that thay still going to play it and some kids don't know the risks thay can be taking when there talking to other grown people.
So an update come in 2009 that not all players can talk at all just using quick chat and only using the quick chat worlds if your not over 13 you have to wait in tell your 13th birthday to be able to speak freely.
people who can speak freely and go's to a quick chat world and not speak freely and can only use the quick chat only if your in that world.
