The colors of the rainbow are commonly remembered by the acronym ROYGBIV, which stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. These colors appear in a spectrum when light is refracted through water droplets, such as during a rain shower. Each color transitions smoothly into the next, creating the beautiful arc of the rainbow.
Primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. The complimentary color of red is green. Complimentary color ov blue is orange. Complimentary color of yellow is violet. All artists use primary and complimentary colors (except Mondrian).

The name given to three colors from which all other colors are made is "primary colors". These colors are typically red, blue, and yellow and they are fundamental in color mixing. By combining primary colors, you can create a wide range of secondary and tertiary colors.
Tertiary Colours
Tertiary
what is another name for a tetiary color
Tertiary consumers typically feed on secondary consumers, which are animals that eat primary consumers. This means that tertiary consumers eat other animals such as smaller carnivores or omnivores. Examples of tertiary consumers include eagles, sharks, and humans.
Tertiary ColorsThe intermediate colors are the "two-name colors" yellow orange, red orange, yellow green, blue green, red violet, and blue violet. They are created by mixing the primaries in specific proportions according to their proximity to a primary color of red, yellow, and blue on the color wheel. For example, if an orange is closest to yellow on the color wheel it means that it has more yellow in it and therefore looks like a yellowish orange. The orange that is next to the red on the color wheel has more red in it and therefore appears to look reddish.Sometimes the intermediates are referred to as tertiary colors. The tertiary colors are not the same as intermediates as they are created by mixing the secondary colors. For example, orange and purple make russet, orange and green make citron, and purple and green make olive. So really the intermediate colors are yellow orange, red orange, yellow green, blue green, red violet, and blue violet.
