To unlock the slide lock on your SD card, simply slide the switch on the side of the card to the unlocked position. This will allow you to write, delete, and modify the data on the card.
To transfer data from an SD card to a CompactFlash card using an adaptor, insert the SD card into the adaptor and then insert the adaptor into the CompactFlash card slot on your device. Use a computer or device with both SD and CompactFlash card slots to copy and paste the files from the SD card to the CompactFlash card.
No, a micro SD card and a micro SDXC card are not the same. A micro SDXC card is a type of micro SD card that has a higher storage capacity and faster data transfer speeds compared to a standard micro SD card.
To use a CF card adapter for an SD card, simply insert the SD card into the adapter and then insert the adapter into the CF card slot on your device. Make sure the adapter is securely in place before using the SD card.
To transfer data from a compact flash card to an SD card, you can use a computer with a card reader that supports both types of cards. Insert the compact flash card into the card reader, then connect the SD card to the computer. Copy the files from the compact flash card to a folder on your computer, then safely eject the compact flash card. Finally, insert the SD card and transfer the files from the computer to the SD card.
To transfer files from a CF card to a micro SD card, you can use a card reader that supports both card types. Insert the CF card into the card reader and connect it to your computer. Copy the files from the CF card to your computer, then remove the CF card and insert the micro SD card. Copy the files from your computer to the micro SD card.
On the left side of the SD card there is a small lock switch. Slide this into the upper position.
take out your sd card and look on the side of your sd card and you will see a little slider thing and it will tell you which way to unlock it and which way to lock and put on the side where it says to unlock it.
There should be a little white switch on the side of the card. Flick that switch in either direction (depending which) to unlock/lock your SD card.
switch from lock to unlock
Every SD card should have a write protect switch located on the right edge, about 5mm from the top of the card. In order to unlock the card slide the switch upwards. Note that with Mini SD and Micro SD (Transflash) these switches are not present. The card is always unlocked. A switch may however be present on an SD card adapter. Because of the position of the switch they can often be switched accidentally on inserting or removing the card.
on the side of the card it has a mini switch hope tht helps!
take the memory card out of the camera and push the little yellow lock upwards to unlock it.
On the Mini SD adapter, there is a lock tap you push down usually when you put your mini SD card in to it, then into the USB adapter. To turn off the write protection on your mini SD, simply do not lock your mini SD in its adapter. If that doesn't work, the write protection sensor in the device reader is not reading the card's lock switch properly. First, try moving the lock switch on the card slightly towards the lock position - this worked for me. Another trick is to put a piece of tape over the lock switch area on the card. It seems the fail-safe position is write protected, unless the switch is closed by the tab on the card in the 'unlocked' position, signaling a writable card. If these simple tricks don't work, the 'unlocked' sensor in the device reader may not be working; it's likely to be a mechanical switch that my have failed. Some have claimed success performing micro surgery to permanently short the switch in the closed position, essentially removing the write protection. This would require more skills that the average person has. Proceed at your own risk of damaging the device. Just go to Best Buy and ask someone
If you are plugging the micro sd card inserted through a card adapter to your PC then all you need to do is just check and unlock the lock button to remove write protection.

That feature just blocks any write operations. If you enable it, you can't:Move files from or to the SD CardRemove files from the SD CardCopy files to the SD CardFormat the SD Card
It has been my observation that many (if not most) SD card slots ignore the state of the protect slide and always allow writes to the card. This protect slide is checked mechanically by the SD card slot, the card has no means of checking its position.
