The Canon AE-1 camera's shutter fires when advancing film to reset the shutter mechanism and prepare it for the next exposure.
A fire in the factory
Fox fire
Your external flash may not fire every time due to several reasons, such as low battery power, improper connection, or a malfunction in the flash unit. Check the battery level, ensure proper connection to the camera, and troubleshoot any technical issues to resolve the problem.
It means that like when a guys wee wee on fire or burning really badly + that could cause death really sad death.
To safely and effectively use steel wool for fire photography, follow these steps: 1. Wear protective gear such as gloves and goggles. 2. Choose a safe outdoor location away from flammable materials. 3. Attach the steel wool to a whisk or wire for spinning. 4. Ignite the steel wool using a lighter or 9-volt battery. 5. Spin the steel wool in a circular motion while taking photos with a camera set to a long exposure. 6. Be mindful of sparks and embers, and have a fire extinguisher or water nearby for safety.

Assuming it was properly developed and that you mean the entire film, then the cause has to be insufficient exposure. This can be due to use of flash in low ambient light where the flash was way out of sync with the shutter (e.g. shutter set at 1/500 second or faster); a bad combination of shutter and aperture throughout (not likely); in the case of a range finder camera, the lens cap was left on; or most likely of all, the film was never transported through the cameral because it wasn't loaded properly. If it slips off when you close the back and start cranking, you can shoot until the cows come home and you won't expose one frame. Happened to me...just once. The proper way to load a film is to ensure the sprocket holes are engaged in the top and bottom sprockets of the take-up spool before you close the back. Then always fire off at least two frames with the lens cap on before taking a real photo, and ALWAYS watch the crank (what you use to rewind the film) when advancing the film during those two shots after you close the back. If it doesn't move while advancing to that second one, check if there's tension by rotating the crank slightly in the rewind direction. If you hear the film leader slip off, you just averted a catastrophe. If you go too far and wind the leader back in on an unexposed film, a camera store can usually retrieve it for you. Better to waste that film before you take 36 pictures of nothing. Some people will try to get 38 pictures out of a 36 exposure roll, and sooner or later they will lose when they "roll the dice" this way.
