no they are not, they die if you soak them in water.
For a little while. Then it will soak it up like a sponge.
Nothing (for a time) as apples are waterproof.
To get a softer touch and make them not stiff.
Soak a cotton ball in eye-makeup remover or baby oil and hold it on your eyelashes for about 10 seconds and then rub away. Hold it there longer if it's waterproof mascara.
A waterproof tent is a good tenting product to use in the rain. The tent should repel the rain, and not let the rain soak through.
They will soak for a number of reasonable. I would check for mitre first. They will also soak in water because the humidity is too low, it should be 50%. They will also randomly soak if they are about to shed or if it too hot.
Soak thoroughly when first planted and then soak once a week throughout the growing season
Buy the thickest socks you can find, then wear them when you try on the boot. Leather boots are best, after you buy them soak them in hot (you can boil water), after they soak and the water begins to cool off, put your extra thick socks back on. Then wear the wet boots around the house for a few hours while they dry. The leather will shrink some and somewhat conform to your unique foot shape.
Ideally, you would just put it in the refrigerator for 12 - 24 hours. Another way is to have it in something waterproof (like a tightly sealed zipper bag) and soak it in luke warm water.
Yes, linseed oil can be used to condition leather boots. Apply a small amount on a rag and coat leather allowing to soak in. Dispose of rag carefully as it can spontainiously combust - burn rags to ensure this is done safely and doesnt burn your house down.!
All you have to do is soak them in the trough or perhaps your bathtun before you go out in the morning. You can be wearing them while they soak or not. It should not take more than just a couple minutes of soaking. Don't actually get water inside them, that will probably ruin the inside and make them uncomfortable (depending upon the boots). While they are submerged past the ankle part at least, if you are not wearing them, push outward from the inside on the places that might rub you the worst. For me it was right at the ankles. Bend them around a bit into the shape you want them. Once you have let each boot soak for just a couple of minutes put them on (unless they are already on, then just keep them on). Roll your foot around in them a while to try and streach them and mold them to your feet. Wear them around for a few hours at least. After that, you can either take them off or continue to wear them while you work. Note: You may need to do this more than once. Just soak em a little each morning befoer you head out in them and put them on while they are still wet. If your boots are not water proof (not every western boot is water proof), you are going to have to do one of two things: deal with the water (wear thick socks), or deal with the pain of wearing boots that are not molded to your feet. You should be able to take em off and let em dry after a couple of hours anyway. or you can walk them puddles of water first of all you should not buy any boot that is not ALL-LEATHER. Meaning every part is leather, including insoles and shanks. Once you have bought a good boot, soak them in a tub of warm water for 30 minutes make sure the entire foot of the boot is soaked then strap on a thick pair of socks and wear them for a solid 10-12 hours. Or pour a cup of water down inside your boots strap them on and wear them until dry, and they will be perfect.
