How do i get past the guy in mythology land to get to Poseidon?

You go to Poseidon's temple and put the starfish (from his statue in the Museum) on his altar. After you take Aphrodite's quiz, go left into the water and dive by the darker water near the statue. Swim along the top, down the right side, and left along the bottom of the maze to reach the Giant Pearl oyster and the cave of the Hydra.

The cave of the Hydra is an air-filled cave in the realm of Poseidon.

Go to Poseidon's temple (far right on the island) and use the starfish from the Poseidon statue in the Museum of Olympus. In the realm, take Aphrodite's quiz to get the magic mirror, then dive into the lake. Go along the top, right side, and bottom of the maze, and enter the Hydra cave. (The giant pearl, another sacred item, is right outside.)

Only Hercules can remove the large stone that blocks your path to Poseidon's throne room. You can only get his help afteryou have returned the 5 sacred items to the Tree of Immortality. After Zeus steals them from you, you can get Hercules to go with you to the throne rooms of Hades and Poseidon.

(You need the Touchscreen Mirror from Aphrodite's test on the beach in Poseidon's realm. The gods are Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, and Hestia.)

You can enter the underwater area from the beach near Aphrodite, where there is a stream of water flowing into the sea. You can reach the Hydra cave and the giant pearl by swimming along the top, right side, and the bottom of the maze. But you cannot ordinarily enter the Poseidon throne room area because it is blocked by a big rock.

Normally you only go to the throne room after Zeus has stolen the 5 sacred items. Once he does this, Hercules will go with you and remove the big rock.

(*Due to a glitch in the "out of oxygen", some players may find themselves at the throne room and getting the Trident early. But it does not affect the play of the game.)

After you get the 5 sacred items (the flower, the ring, the pearl, the scale and the whisker) and return them to the Tree of Immortality, you find that Zeus is only using you to gain power.

Go to Herc's Hero Hut and now Hercules will agree to help you. You will need the Touchscreen Mirror from the test by Aphrodite, on the beach in Poseidon's realm. Travel to Hades and get his skull crown, then to Poseidon and get his trident. Now you can return to the gate of Olympus, where Hercules will smash the padlock open.

*You will also need the one drachma from cleaning graffiti at the Temple of Hades.

The Temple of Poseidon is to the far right of the Grove of Temples, past the Temple of Hades (the second mud geyser will take you there). Use the starfish from Poseidon's statue in the museum as an offering, and the door will open.
