Use sand , You need to have the ground opprox flat or level, and clear of all grass and weeds then spread 3 to 4 inches of sand . On a 16 foot pool use a 8 foot 2 x4 and a 4 foot level. Put a stake in the middle lay the 2x4x8 down with 1 end against stake then put level on 2x4x8, work the 2x4 around keeping one end against stake and the level on level. P.S. make sure 2x4x8 is straight. Fill in all low spots and spread the high spots. This is not easy to do,it will take 2 or 3 people. You should pack the sand. I had a Intek pool and used this process 3 years later the pool got a hole in it but the sand is still there. Go to the local rental shop and get a sod cutter. Learn how they work, youll be amazed what they do in a short amount of time for your DIY AG pool project, forget the Bob Cat unless your an expert real fact. Ryan makes the premium unit, rents for a small cost, and plentiful, they also work great for lots of other at home projects. good swimming getapool.com

How can I level an above ground pool?

To level an above ground pool, you need to use a long carpenter's level to check the ground for any uneven areas. If you find any, you can use sand or a leveling kit to fill in the low spots and create a flat surface for the pool to sit on. It's important to ensure the ground is level to prevent the pool from shifting or becoming unstable.

What do you put under a small above ground pool to level it?

How to level the ground for a pool effectively?

To level the ground for a pool effectively, you should first remove any rocks, roots, and debris from the area. Then, use a shovel and a level to ensure the ground is flat and even. You can also use a tamper to compact the soil and create a stable base for the pool. Finally, consider using sand or gravel to further level the ground and provide a smooth surface for the pool to sit on.

Why does the ground have to be level for above ground pools?

So that the water doesn't drain out of the pool and so the pool doesn't fall over. I agree with the answer above but I have a more detailed answer. In a round above ground pool the water puts even pressure on the pool walls, and if the ground is not level one side will get more pressure. The imbalance will cause the pool to collapse under the strain.

Is 2 inch difference of level ground okay for ground swimming pool?

I assume your question is "How to level the ground for the installation of swimming pools" The answer is for a yard size pool you may have to rent a small grader such as a "bobcat" combination front end loader with a blade and grading attachment. These are widely available in North America and the Caribbean.

If you build up a level area to place your pool you will have no problems. If you place the pool on the ground the way it is your water level will only be as high as the lowest side of your pool.

Unfortunately, no. If the sand isn't level when you put the pool on top of it, the bottom of the pool will stay uneven after it's filled. Sorry.

How many gallons of water is in a 18x36 in ground pool?

Cannot be answered with only these measurements. You need to specify what shape the pool is. Also, for a rectangular pool, the length, width and depth are needed. For a round pool, the diameter and depth are needed.
