How long should you wait to go in the pool after you got it dyed?

Depends what make of hair dye really for some its a week but some its only two days so i dont know

Try to wait at least 24 hours before going swimming after the hair is colored.

Also, before going into the pool......wet the hair and apply a thick layer of conditioner. Do not rinse. Once you're done swimming, rinse your hair thoroughly.

Even after waiting you run the risk of your hair turning green if the pool is too chlorinated or your hair is very damaged and porous. I always recommend to my clients to use a good leave in spray/cream conditioner before sunning or swimming, in order to also protect from damage caused to hair by UV rays.

However, chlorination in the pool is what changes the color so your best bet, to keep your locks beautifully blond, is to keep them out of the water. Hair coloring is an investment, and prevention is worth a pound of cure. :)

I depends if it is a chlorinated pool. If so, wait 24-72 hours. If it is natural water, you do not have to wait.

I am pretty sure you can swim 24 hours after you dye your hair but just to be sure I would wait 48 hours. Hope this helped.
