One gallon of standard 5.25% sodium hypochlorite liquid bleach. In a clean pool, this should bring the chlorine level to 3-5ppm. If it's murky, add 6 gallons to "shock" the pool. Then wait for the levels to fall. See WARNING. Vacuum the sediment and enjoy!
