you can offer to pay the water company an installment payback plan or you can go to social services and tell them your plight. you need water for not only cooking but in your toilets showers . and God forbid they do shut it off you will have to pay for turning it back on when the bill is paid. you don't want that and believe me neither does the water company. that's why a payment plan is in every bodies best interest
