What is causing the white bathtub ring around your in-ground pool and how do you get rid of it?

There are very limited ways to clean this usually very hard mineral deposit off of the tile.

I have found the best way is to use a new product, Power Blue Scale Off. When you spray it on the white scale and brush it begins to dissolve away.

The white ring is probably Calcium carbonate. You do not clean the tiles often do you? Depending on how sever the calcium line is you may have to have the ring glass bead blasted off. If it is fairly light, lots of elbow grease with a fiber scrubber pad - concentrating on a small section - one or two feet at a time - by the middle of next swimming season you may have gotten it all.
