Here's the issue:

First, we must agree upon a lenght of time that an observation will be made of dugout canoe's crossing Lake Malai. I suggest one season. The most amiable to canoeing of course.

b. All canoes head in the same direction.

c. All canoes end at the same point.

d. All canoe's are of the same wood and weight.

e. All canoe's have same number of paddlers.

f. All canoes have paddlers of equal ability.

g The water conditions for each observation are simular.

Thirdly, variables must be noted, such as, wind direction, change of wind speed & direction, temperature of air & water and general lake conditions.

Doug entered a canoe race he rowed 3 12 miles in 12 hours what was his average speed in miles per hour?

To find Doug's average speed, divide the total distance he rowed by the total time taken. He rowed 3.12 miles in 12 hours, so the average speed is 3.12 miles ÷ 12 hours = 0.26 miles per hour. Therefore, Doug's average speed was 0.26 mph.

A small 20-kg canoe is floating downriver at a speed of 2 ms. What is the canoe and kinetic energy?

The kinetic energy of the canoe can be calculated using the formula: KE = 0.5 * mass * velocity^2. Plugging in the values, the kinetic energy of the canoe is 40 J.

What is the canoes kinetic energy?

The kinetic energy of a moving canoe is calculated using the equation KE = 0.5 * mass * velocity^2, where 'mass' is the mass of the canoe and 'velocity' is its speed. The kinetic energy represents the energy possessed by the canoe due to its motion.

Is a ship or a canoe faster?

Generally, a ship is faster than a canoe due to its larger size, more powerful engines, and streamlined design. Ships are built for speed and can cover vast distances quickly, while canoes are slower and rely on human paddling or small sails. However, the specific speed can vary depending on the type of ship and canoe being compared.

When are speed and average speed the same?

Average speed is an average value of speed over a given time. If your speed is constant (not changing), then your average speed will equal your speed at any given moment in time.

Is average speed the same as speed?

Average Speed is different from average speed becoz speed is particular while avera speed is the total distance divided from time

What is the difference between canoe slalom and canoe sprint?

Canoe slalom involves navigating a canoe or kayak through a series of timed obstacles, typically on a whitewater course with rapids, requiring agility and precision. In contrast, canoe sprint is a flatwater race where athletes paddle over a specified distance in a straight line, focusing on speed and endurance rather than navigating obstacles. Both disciplines are competitive and feature distinct skill sets and techniques.
