It dosent have to, People just like it like that.
"The swimming pool has a deep and and a shallow end." "You cheated at the card game, it shows how shallow you are."
The indoor pool at the Glencoe Club is ~2ft at the shallow end and 9ft at the deep end.
It depends at a house pool usually 3-3.5 feet deep but at a public swimming pool usually 4 feet deep
Usually they mean a 50m or 25m pool which is rectangular and has a shallow and deep end with diving availability:)
Swimming in a shallow pool can be more challenging because there is less water to work with, making it easier to hit the bottom or sides. a deep pool can provide more space to swim without those obstacles.
Not enough information. need length and width
It is not possible to answer the question. The floor of most swimming pools do not have a constant slope from the shallow to the deep end. Second, the amount of water that a pool can hold cannot be measured in square metres - which a measure of area - not of volume.
13'7", but why? You wouldn't build a pool like that, it's not really safe. well i got alot of pbunnies
he dived into the shallow end of a swimming pool
when learning to swim, a particularly cruel method of forcing you to learn was to 'throw you in at the deep end' without any help. it has come to mean doing a task etc that is particularly hard with no help
Not neccesarily. If you are a confident swimmer then swimming in the deeper end may be easier, but if you are learning to swim then it would be a better idea to stay in the shallow end as it would be safer and would probably be easier.
The deep end of the pool is "El parte hondo de la piscina".
