The standard, basic models have a fair level of accuracy. There are more precise models available, with features such as free floating bull barrels, enhanced trigger groups, and so forth. You can even spend thousands to build a custom 10/22 without using a single Ruger factory component, and make a real tack driver out of it. However, in the end, you'd probably still something like a bolt action Anschutz rifle to be more accurate.
Better than 90% of the people who shoot them.
You would have to define what accurate means to you- but in general, Ruger makes good, accurate firearms.
Ruger website, under customer service, historical data, revolver, find your model, date ranges are there. Very nice of Ruger to do that.
very little market for ruger auto pistols, i would estimate 320 dollars or so depending on condition
That is the correct spelling of Ruger, which is named for William Ruger of Sturm, Ruger & Company.
In my opinion Ruger 10/22 is the best 22. LR for a number of reasons. One being the infinite amount of parts and upgrades you are able to put on the gun. Another reason is that is it very accurate out of the box. It is also very light weighing in at 5.25 lbs.
With a proper setup and knowledge of long range ballistics, 1000m.
A LOT! These were in production for many years, and a very popular gun. Check with Customer Service at the Ruger website for some specific answers.
The Ruger website, customer service, historical data, pistols, then your model- will show a serial number range for given years of production. It has been reported this is not always fully accurate- you CAN contact Ruger Customer Service by email, and they will advise you of specific production date.
