federal law is three rounds when hunting migratory birds (Ducks, Geese,Doves.) the magazine limits will vary from state to state as to how many rounds can be in the gun when it is used for hunting/shooting Best to call the state game and fish commission in the location state
One or two, depending on how many barrels the shotgun has.
two
3
how many shells does it hold
Depends on gauge.
3 rds. max
As many as you can fit- but you cannot hunt with a gun that will hold more than 3.
When hunting, most states will require that a shotgun not be able to hold more than 3 shells- the plug blocks the magazine to limit how many shells. When not hunting, the plug is not required. It IS required when hunting any migratory bird- such as ducks, geese or dove.
i think that it can only hold 3 shells
Some shells hold up to 15.
Anywhere from 2-9
They are properly called cartridges, or shotshells (not bullets)- and the answer depends on which shotgun. Some hold 1 shell, some 2, 3 or (rarely) as many as 14. A standard pump shotgun can hold 5 shotshells, but most hunting regulations do not allow more than 3.
