A 410 shotgun is basically a 41 caliber smoothbore. A 45 caliber round may fit in the chamber, but the bullet is too big. Don't do it.

Can 30 caliber rounds be fired through 410 gauge shotgun?

A .410 shotgun is close to .45 caliber and a .30 caliber projectile would tumble in the bore. You are not likely to even be able to chamber the round, and even if you managed to do so, it would be unsafe due to higher pressures in rifle cartridges.

Can 45 caliber be shot in 410 gauge shotgun?

Not unless you want to destroy the barrel and perhaps hurt yourself.

What caliber pistol can you load and shoot in a 410?

None. While there are firearms made to shoot .45 Colt AND .410 shotshells, they are designed and made to do that. A regular .410 shotgun is NOT made to do that safely.

Is a 22 caliber bullet be fired from 45 caliber?

NO!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!!!

Can a 410 shotgun use a fouty-five caliber bullet safely?

No, is the short answer. The long answer is a little more complex. The .45 Colt and the .410 share similar base dimensions which make them interchangeable in certain firearms. Usually, however, you find .45 Colt/.410 shotgun combinations, meaning the firearm is designed to shoot .45 Colt, but will also accept .410 shot shells. The Taurus Judge, and Bond Derringer's Snake Slayer are two pistol examples. There are many variations, but the unifying factor is that these guns are designed to handle higher chamber and barrel pressures generated by the .45 Colt cartridge. The barrel of your typical .410 shotgun is very thin in comparison, and is designed to fire shotgun ammunition only. So, if the firearm is specifically designed for it, you can shoot .410 shotgun ammunition through a .45 Colt barrel. You cannot, nor should you attempt, to load a .45 Colt round into a .410 shotgun.

What shell will fit a 410 shotgun other then a 410 shell?

None. Some handguns have been made that will fire .45 Long Colt revolver rounds and .410 shotgun shells, but that does not mean that you can take any .410 shotgun and stick .45 handgun ammo in there.

Can any 410 shot gun shoot 45 colt rounds?

NO!!! There ARE some firearms that are made to fire both, but the standard .410 shotgun is not. You are trying to push a .45 caliber bullet through a .41 caliber barrel. This is extremely dangerous. Can it be done? Yes. How many times can it be done before you blow the gun up? No one knows THAT answer!

What amo is used in taraus the judge?

What rifle round will fire out of a .410?

The .45 Long Colt is similar enough to the .410 shotshell that it is interchangeable in the Thompson Center Arms Contender family of handguns/rifles. This is the only firearm that I have personally owned that was specifically designed for this interchangability. If you have a .410 shotgun of any make or model, you should consult the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer (if possible) before firing .45 Long Colt ammunition it. The shotgun may have a choke (fixed or removable) that could obstruct the passage of the .45 caliber bullet through the bore as it is fired; resulting in damage to the firearm, or the shooter. This goes back to one of the fundamental rules of firearms safety- never fire ammunition in a firearm for which the firearm was never designed to fire.

What is the value of revelation bolt action 410 gauge shotgun model 330B?

45$

Can you safely shoot a 45LC in a smooth bore 410 shotgun with a full choke?

Absolutely not. A .45 Long Colt bullet is nominally .455 inches in diameter. A .410 is .41 caliber. The cartridge will fit because of the extra chamber diameter to accommodate the thick body of the shotgun shell, but attempting to fire a revolver cartridge will result in overpressure, a burst barrel, and likely injury. The chamber pressure of a .45 LC is higher than a shotgun is designed to tolerate, to begin with.

How far will a 30 caliber bullet travel?

Depends on the angle it's fired at, and which .30 caliber. When fired at an angle of about 45 degrees, a 30-06 can fire a bullet about 4-5 miles.
