First contact the airlines. There are very strict rules that must be followed. The rifle must go in the checked luggage compartment unloaded, locked and there is paperwork that must be filled out before you get through the gate. If you show up with the rifle without prior planing, then plan on visiting with the police for an extended time.

I trained/Assessed TSA Agents in a previous assignment.
The Crosman Recruit is a pellet rifle not a pellet gun. If you want to see how the rifle is assembled then see the link below for the diagram.
Only if the rifle is designed for pellets. If it is a "Red Ryder" then the answer is NO. Daisy makes PELLET rifles.
It's designed as a pellet rifle. Forcing it to fire BBs will ruin the rifling in the barrel. Rendering it much less accurate, It's a good way to ruin a pellet rifle.
It's a 16 shot BB repeater or a SINGLE shot pellet rifle
Not normally. In fact I can not think of any pellet rifle that takes a 16 gram C02 cartridge.
Yes it's a single shot .177 pellet rifle.
Impossible to answer.
The best for what? Paintball, .177 Pellet, 6 mm pellet or bb rifle?
In general, an air rifle will drive a pellet faster, since the longer barrel permits the pellet to be pushed for a longer time.
It all depends on the model, the type of pellet and the power plant in the rifle. They are not all the same. FPS Stands for "Feet Per Second" The Speed that the pellet or BB traveles when fired from the rifle.
A pellet rifle has no firing pin. It also can not fire a bullet or gunpowder. It can not be made to do so either. The pellet has no charge (casing like a bullet) it just a pellet. However pellet rifles can be just as deadly as a real firearm. They use Air or C02 to project the pellet downrange. Some Pellet rifles are used for hunting, others for target practice. The Major difference between a firearm and an air rifle, is Gunpowder is use in Firearms and Air or C02 is used in Air rifles.
No. a 177 is a 4.5mm pellet. A 5mm is a 20 cal pellet. A 5.5mm is a 22 cal pellet Don't try it in the wrong airgun.
