No, they did not. Browning made what they called a "Stalker" Auto 5 beginning in 1992. The black stock Stalker was available only in Light 12 and Mag 12 models. 1992 was also the last year they made the Sweet 16 in Japan. There are many aftermarket black synthetic stocks on the market. These 16ga. guns with black stocks show up sometimes on the gun auctions, but they are not original Browning Equipment.
