In my research into this question, they dont come with a Remington barrel, but they say that the Remington model 11 barrel is interchangeable with the Savage 720, and visa versa. They will not be interchangeable with the Browning A5 barrel.
The Remington Model 700 is a bolt-action rifle. It was made by the Remington Arms in 1962. It can come in many different stock, barrel and caliber configurations.
Yes, if it is a modern Remington barrel because these barrels come pre-threaded and accept REM chokes (and many other manufacturer's chokes made for the Remington barrel). Otherwise it will have the choke description stamped on the barrel like, "FULL". I have an older Remington barrel that was a "FULL" choke that I had a gunsmith thread for me. The ability to thread a barrel for chokes will depend on the thickness of the barrel wall. Consult a trained gunsmith.
The Savage model 24B was introduced in the year 1950 along with the model 24.These were made until 1965.
It was made only from 1932 - 1935
No
The Remington model 6 rifle in .22 caliber is a rifle made from 1901 to 1933 resembling the rolling block rifle. There were three grades offered, the first from 1901 to 1903 is the original model 6. The second which had a production from 1903-1929 is the Improved Model 6, and the final grade was the New Improved Model 6 which had a production from 1929-1933. They come in .22 short, .22 long, .22 long rifle, and .32R short. Some of them were made Remington- Union Metalic Cartridge company. Some versions have sights on the grip that folds upward, while other variations have a fixed sight about half of the barrel down. the fixed sight version has a U rear sight and a standard blade foresight. Caliber can be found on the left side of the barrel, serial number is (usually) found on the underside of the barrel in front of the hand guard.
You don't unscrew the barrel off the model 99 you unscrew the shot-tube inside the barrel. Look closely at the end of the barrel you will see that it has ridges around the end. Grab these and untwist the very end of the barrel. It will come out and you will be able to pull out the shot tube. See the link below for the Owners guide for the model 25, it uses the exact same barrel and loading system as the model 99.
The value of any gun is based on the exact make, model and condition. There is a Savage Model 30 .22 rifle, and several versions (and gauges) of the Model 30 shotgun. And we still do not know condition. Your most accurate answer will come after a hands-on review at a gun shop or gun show.
Not all Remington 1100 shotguns come with a full choke; the choke options can vary depending on the specific model and configuration. The Remington 1100 series includes various models designed for different purposes, such as hunting or target shooting, and they may come with interchangeable chokes or fixed chokes. It's essential to check the specifications of the particular model you are interested in to determine the choke type it includes.
You first need to remove the fore arm and then the barrel needs to be removed from the receiver. The bolt will then come out the front of the receiver.
1959 or later is the best I can come up with, based on the address on the barrel, and one reference that said this was Savage's address from 1959. Mine has no serial number so it was made before 1968.
Once you have the forearm removed you need a special spanner wrench to remove the tube/nut below the barrel. The bolt handle pin is then drifted out of the bolt and then the bolt handle can be removed from the bolt body. The barrel will now come out the front end of the receiver.
